Volleyball Loses at DePauw

Greencastle, Ind. - The Franklin College volleyball team had its five-match winning streak snapped in a straight set loss at DePauw University on Saturday afternoon. The Grizzlies stand 7-6 on the season.

Junior Jordan Finke (Indianapolis, Ind./Lutheran) and sophomore Kourtney Settle (Vallonia, Ind./Brownstown Central) led the offensive effort with six kills each. Sophomore Emily Young (Avon, Ind./Avon) added five kills.

Defensively, sophomore Mackenzie Wieneke (Seymour, Ind./Seymour) recorded a team-high 26 digs, while sophomore Theresa Brown (Indianapolis, Ind./Franklin Central) had 18 digs.

Freshman Ashley Bazier (Terre Haute, Ind./Terre Haute South) had 19 assists.
