Men's Basketball Team Falls at Hanover

FRANKLIN, Ind. (Feb. 8, 2017) – The Franklin College men's basketball team lost 92-70 Wednesday night at Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference rival Hanover College.

Senior guard Aaron Mann led the Grizzlies with a game-high 24 points. He was 4 of 7 from three-point range and grabbed a team-best five rebounds.

Senior guard Robbie Prather and freshman guard Braxton Day scored 12 points each for Franklin. Prather was 4 of 7 from behind the arc, and Day was 5 of 13 overall from the field.

Junior Wes McKinney led the host Panthers with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore Cam Fails had 21 points, and junior Corey Muchmore added 14 points and 11 boards.

With the loss, Franklin slips to 6-16 overall and 3-12 in the HCAC. Conference co-leader Hanover improves to 18-3 overall and 13-2 in the HCAC.

Franklin's next game is 2 p.m. Saturday at HCAC opponent Mount St. Joseph.
